The Light Factory
The Light Factory Gallery is a shining new beacon in the Yarra Valley arts community. The gallery was officially opened on the 18th of August, 2010, by Steve Herbert, MP, and sculptor Deborah Halpern. The Light Factory Gallery promotes excellence, innovation and passion for fine arts. Originally built in 1973 as a light factory by renowned Alistair Knox, the building is supported by twelve massive oregon posts, with continuous surrounding clerestory windows that allow light to flood the central atrium.
